The only thing you have to trust is the log's pinned public key: an
ML-DSA-44 post-quantum key, so that a signed statement about history stays checkable for as
long as anyone might want to re-check the past. It is published in full on the
artifacts page, in the pollis-verify release body, and compiled into
every app build.
